Andrew Gray MA Artist & researcher Art-reflex is a condition in which art practice is critically evaluated. This is both a professional art practice and a doctoral research program. The artefacts emerging from my practice, which can be viewed in the catalogue pages, are glass and light installations dealing with human embodiment. The research activities, whilst embedded in the art practice, concern evaluation processes in art practice. The aim is to demystify art practice by looking at the relationship between the physical constraints and influences of the materials and tools and the conceptual design of the resulting artefacts.
